About The Farm...
Eileen and Frank
Fincher welcome you to come and stay in the wing of our
mellow old farmhouse, with its own private garden and
barbecue area. The adjoining meadows gently lead down to the
tranquil River Avon. There are wonderful views of
historic Strensham Church on the opposite bank of the river
and panoramic views of Bredon, Malvern and the Cotswold
Hills. All photographs published on our website are by
Frank Fincher.
Our Self
Catering wing, sleeping five people in three bedrooms is
extremely comfortable and well equipped. The farm is
heated throughout by very efficient modern night storage
heaters.
Sitting
Room/Lounge
The half panelled sitting room has an electric,
traditional-looking wood burner in the fireplace, not only
providing comfort but also looks the part on chillier
evenings! A large settee and chair plus TV and Video
Recorder complete the picture.

Kitchen/Diner
Our kitchen/diner is all extremely well fitted, containing
an electric cooker, microwave, washing machine, coffee maker
etc...

Bedrooms
We have three comfortable, good-sized bedrooms comprising of
one double room, one twin-bedded room and a single-bedded
room. All bedrooms retain ornate original black
fireplaces (these days only to look at of course.)

For our younger
guests we are able to provide a travelling cot, high chair
and stair gates upon request.
Bathroom
The bathroom has a shower over the bath, a heated towel rail
and bathroom heater making it warm and comfortable.
Guests
Comments
Many of our guests make repeated visits and they all seem to
love the care, comfort and tranquillity we offer.
Here's a
favourite snippet out of our guest book… “If a Yorkshire
man parts wi’ his brass without complaint and says all his
party were ‘REIGHT SUITED’ by gum, he must have had value
for money, a very clean, comfortable spot, with more
provided than expected by kind and caring hosts” |
